  Good points. Rooms and most communial areas very nice, clean and modern. Most staff very friendly. Hotel is right on the beach. Bad points. Our room was above the front entrance, each morning tour buses would start to arrive early and leave their noisy engines running for long periods of time. Gym in bad state of repair. Our hired beach towels were removed from our room by the maid and no one could find them for a day nearly loosing us €40 for 2 towels. Was served raw chicken by the chef on the grill. Food on the whole was poor. Some staff are miserable af. Would still probably return though.

  Food was cold and extremely bland, even to cook an omelette correctly was a challenge to them they should really eliminate the compulsory all inclusive and reduce their prices. We ate next door in the blue horizon, which incidentally is owned by the hotel also, this was much better quality, as it was charged for, and not part of the all inclusive.

  Spent a week here in September and it was by far the best holiday me and my girlfriend have been on. Staff are so friendly and speak very good English. Food is decent and they're very generous with the drinks! Pour your own beer was also a bonus!! Great location, less than a minute to the beach and five minutes to the shops! Would definitely recommend anyone coming here

  It would be my preferred area in Lanzarote, Matagorda, as there are some nice bars just a 5 minute walk from the hotel, which are more entertaining than the archaic poor cabaret acts in the hotel.

  However my “sea view room” was badly obstructed by a massive tree (with about a trillion birds on, constantly making noise).

  For a lower star hotel sol Lanzarote is pretty good, as with a lot of all inclusive holidays the meals can get a bit repetitive, the staff very attentive and friendly we had a couple of issues that was sorted instantly, the area is nice secure exit and entry out to the beach kids pools are great if you have young children. Would highly recommend. Have stayed in higher rated hotels that don’t come close to this.

  I see this place as more “family with kids” heaven. But if you’re a young couple, you may be slightly disappointed.

  I couldn't say it was value for money, as other hotels we visited close by were cheaper and offered better facilities, would I return, no.. But I would pop into to blue horizon to say hello to the lads and have a bite to eat.

  Staff are lovely and friendly, hotel is very clean, entertainment is a let down, but I guess if you are offering inclusive alcohol, they don't particularly want you there for too long.

  I personally expected more .....activities in and around the hotel. This was not the case. In fact locals know the hotel as “the last hotel on the beach line” which is not far from the truth. Especially when is very likely you will come all inclusive here, it is also very likely to spend money out as purely there’s not much to do here, apart from baking yourself around the pool, eating, drinking ...repeat.
